Ramadan Acrylic Painting
“Allah has made Laylat al-Qadr in this month, which is better than a thousand months.” – Surah Al-Qadar – 97:1-5.
This is my first year of fasting during Ramadan, to mark this occasion which has a special taste, is religious, a time of giving, love, and compassion. I have created my painting. I have attempted to captured the Ramadan spirit The Dervish dancers with their colorful skirt from Egypt, the famous Ramadan lantern, the iftar canon. The gathering of men at the mosque performing prayers. Ramadan, in my painting, represents the gathering, the love and the giving of this special time of year In this painting, I used acrylic paint and used the soft blending stroke technique to get the nice blue sky. Sketching the outline and 1,2,3 let the fun begin and paint flow.
