Indian Mixed media Painting
A very fine and detailed Maharaja and Maharani Portrait pair on mdf boards. Painted with metallic colors, 3-D outliners, pearl drops and jewels. Kundan stones, pearls and different variety of other delicate stones have been used to highlight the jewels worn by both. Not only this, the stones have been used to enhance the beauty of the dresses worn by the king and the queen. The colors of the dresses for the pair are specifically chosen to give a good contrast when put together as a pair. The framing is a special box frame to give the depth to the painting and highlight the intricate work done on both the figures. The concept for these cutouts has been inspired by the Thani Bani style of Rajasthani miniature paintings. That’s the reason the jewelry is predominantly kundan and pearls. These are two separate box frames but should ideally be put together as a pair.
The size indicated is for both paintings together.
