Flowers Painting
“The wind is playing autumn games, through the gardens and the lanes. Picking up, and swirling around, leaves of orange, red and brown, thus my love of autumn” When I think autumn, I see the words of the above poem by Brenda Williams. I see hot coffees on park benches as leaves fall all around, I see mist in the air accompanied by the scent of pumpkin and laughter. I see my daughters crushing the dead crunchy leaves on the street. I see, Love. Adding onto my alcohol ink art series, is this piece on the 50 shades of autumn, or shall I say the three shades of autumn – Brown, Red and yellow, so playful and so nostalgic to the brisk warmth of autumn. The blend of colors defined into oval shapes depict the leaves of autumn and all the joy they bring with them. This piece is the perfect modest yet bold pop of color every room needs.
