Ganesha Oil Painting
This painting is a detailed piece of artwork in an effort to portray each and every minutest detail to its perfection. Spanning over a period of two months, the painting was done with Oil on Linen. Using a double zero brush throughout, that brought out even the finer details enhancing the painting further. The concept behind the work is to portray a few mystical relics of Southern India. Ganesha, seated magnificently on a conch surrounded by rare rudraksh that is available only in the Himalayas.
The flower which is very auspicious finds its abode under the feet of Ganesha, is also unique from the Southern part of India.
Divinity, Peace and tranquility are evident and one feels humbled on seeing this painting that brings inner peace.
Each artefact evoked varied emotions in me; and together they instill a sense of faith and peace that gives me immense strength and sanctity.
