Ganpati Painting
According to Indian Mythology, Lord Ganesh is associated with wisdom, success and good luck. He is known as the remover of all obstacles and lord of new beginnings hence the name Vighneshvara. As he is heavily ornamented, it was a great platform to add a lot of doodling patterns to make his highly decorated turban and clothes. I have added a doodling border also to add to the doodling effects. His vahan (ride), the mouse is also decorated with doodling patterns. The shloka has also been written with gold outliner to give the embedded look. The painting has been made with doodling pens and oil pastels on pastel paper. The background is done with metallic oil pastels because I think these oil pastels give a very lustrous look any painting.
