Ganpati Painting
According to Indian Mythology, Lord Ganesh is associated with wisdom, success and good luck. He is known as the remover of all obstacles and lord of new beginnings hence the name Vighneshvara. As he is heavily ornamented, it was a great platform to add special 3D effect for his jewelry.
Special effort has been put in to give the effect of semi precious stones and gold for the jewelry and the turban. The shloka has also been written with gold outliner to give the embedded look. The Vakratunda Mahakaya mantra is a popular Ganesha mantra that invokes The Vakrtunda Mahakaya mantra is recited by thousands of Hindus all over India to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha who is the god of prosperity and wisdom.
The painting has been made with oil pastels on pastel paper. The eyes are specially made with pastel pencils because they give a very realistic feel to the painting.
